After a long time of looking at this site, I've compiled a list of components to put into my budget gaming build. I would be grateful for any advice/suggestions/feedback you guys could give, thanks a lot!

These are the components I already have:

Case: Antec Super LanBoy $30
Power Supply: Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W $50
Hard Drive: Hitachi 80GB $20
Memory: OCZ Value Series 1GB (2x512MB) DDR 400 PC-3200 $60
Floppy Drive: Already own
Mouse & Keyboard: Already own

These are the components I'm going to buy unless you tell me otherwise:

Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4-F $75 New Egg
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ $162 New Egg
Video Card: eVGA GeForce 6800 GS 256 MB $194 New Egg
Optical Drive: Lite-On IDE DVD-ROM Black $25 New Egg
Monitor: Compaq FS7600 17" CRT $100 Circuit City

Thanks again and any help would be appreciated. ;)

Edit: Forgot to put a final price. Total price inc shipping comes out to: $716 for everything.

i would upgrade the Lite-On IDE DVD-ROM Black to a dvd+-RW drive...it'll be much better...

First of all, thanks for the response. I would have gone to a dvd burner but I'm already stretching my budget pretty thin.

What's the response time on the monitor you're buying because you dont want anything higher then a 16ms response on a LCD monitor because anything higher then that you're gonna start seeing ghosting.
