i loaded it, pressed enter and it said please wait for a couple seconds then went back to the same screen "Insert Manufacture-Support Disk into A:" blah blah

:p having fun yet?

try pressing enter again. it should prompt you that there is nothing at a:

i used a cd at that point and it took it, so i'm trying to figure out why it won't let you change the drive source?

lol

i tried enter about a 100000000000000000000 times and it doesnt prompt for anything. I'm gettin Home Edition tomorrow from someone should i just wait for that?

i really don't think that is the problem, although it won't hurt to try if you want.

is this xp pro you are trying now?

here is the support email for your mobo
support2@asrock.biz

maybe give them a holler.

it's drivin me nuts that it won't take the cd? doesn't make any sense to me at all. when i did it i just went to other and popped in the mobo cd and it loaded off of that.

yea home edition probably wont make a difference (but theres always hope)

i'll send them an email

thanks for your help and if u have any other tips, i could probably use them.
