psu question

i was looking to get a new power supply. i really have my mind set on getting this antec 550. but i've heard that it is relatively large. now my case isn't tiny, but i'm not quite sure that there would be enough space to hold this psu while providing enough air flow. i have an e machines with a plain old stock case. what are the risks of not having a good amount of air flow throughout the case, and is it worth it?

Not sure what power supply your talking about but most PSU's have fans in the front and the back so it could possibly help pull air out of the case through the PSU and out the back.

Check the case form factor by looking it up online or calling their teech support. That power supply is ATX therefore you need an ATX case or larger to support it.

However, Im not sure if Emachine make their parts prepiritary. Therefore you should check with emachine before you try upgrading.
