Hi all!
I was working on a computer today that CONSITENTLY will not boot the first time you start it. You get the HP Blue screen as is normal, then it says "operating system not found".

Here's what's strange. If you shut it down and restart it again after that, it boots into Windows just fine!?

If you shut it down, it starts the whole process over again. Every time, having to re-start it once and not more.

Any ideas?

No, it has one 40 gig Fujitsu hdd. It is probably going to be replaced but, I'm concerned that something else is causing the problem. (Like the MOBO) That's why I was hoping someone has come across this problem before.

BTW....It's a HP Pavilion 7915
Windows XP
256 MB Inferion Ram
Intel Celeron 1.1 GHz
Fujitsu 40 Gig hdd
Asus CUW - AM (Rev. 2.02) Mobo
CD Rom (Which is acting funny also)

All parts are OEM/Stock except the memory.
