You should get socket 939 because it is more future proof but if your sticking with 754 get a AMD Athlon 3000+ which is around 60 more bucks (also is the best socket 754 AMD which is saying 754 is old technology) then the sempron 2600+. Then get a 6600GT or 6800GS (I say if your gaming save up around 40 more dollars and get the 6800GS).

Value RAM is fine if your not overclocking.

HAHAH Oh man SO TRUE X-D

Gotta love those 512mb 45 dollar sticks.

yeah like everyone said...nothing is wrong with it as long as you're not overclocking...but i KNOW you want to overclock...oh you do ;)

ok I feel like my system is getting a little unbalanced. I'm going to change the cpu to a Sempron 64 2800+ Palermo and get a little less expensive graphics card than a 6600GT.

What is the best graphics card for around $100-125?

My updated build is in my sig now. I still have some questions though.

one of the reviewers on newegg said that the Foxconn motherboard has problems with Semprons so I might want to use a different motherboard. Any ideas? I want a mobo that is around $50-$75 and is socket 754 and has an AGP 4x/8x slot.

How are these?
