Which one?

Alright.

I can buy one of these three things..

2] a Viewsonic VX924 19" LCD moniter... $350 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824116355

-or-

3] a 7800GTX 256mb

Right now I have a 6800GT..2 gig of ram, amd 3700+... but my moniter is a craptastic MAG Innovision CRT 17" peice of crap with a max res of 1280x1024~60mhz max.

So which one would you take? LOL

****... my monitor's worse than that and I'd go for an upgrade in the box before I got a new monitor. You could always sell the 6800GT and then use that money to buy a mediocer monitor

But you guys see where I am stuck... You think I should get a good moniter, and wait it out for the 8 series? or just get a GT and Decent moniter? Would that be kinda pointless, the 7800GT is not that much better than my 6800GT... ah, headaches.

dude... what is the point in him getting a new graphics card when it would be ruined by the terrible monitor he has now. he will probably find that a cool new monitor would do just the trick, plus that 6800GT is so awesome the monitor is the limiting factor there. im going away to breathe in now but i will be back lol

Thats what I am saying. I need a good moniter to get better graphics. If I were to buy the best graphics card out there it wouldnt matter, becuase I would essentially have the same graphics that I do now.
