the motherboard pcb is being grounded by the case because there are no risers installed and the two are making contact

There are a lot of different scenarios that could be the answer to that problem though...you may have too many fans connected to motherboard headers for example but we don't know if there are too much because we don't have those specifics...uzi is right, there's a bunch of different answers based on variables since we don't know entirely what the scenario is unless we are there
