Wise OS move: XP or wait for Vista

I wouldnt try any new OS until it has been released for at least 6 months.
Just go XP. It works great (well at leat better then 98).
as far as Pro or home their are only oa couple of minor differences then major one IMO is Pros file by file encryption

Why go for Pro? What's the difference from Home? It's still XP.

XP home support is ending this year and will not be supported. No new service packs no new important fixes, etc. With Pro your safe for a little bit longer.


It is very possible that Windows XP Home Edition will not see a SP3.
