This is the gaming system I am currently building:

Abit AN8 nForce4 or the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi
AMD 64 3200+ Venice
Seagate Barracuda 120GB
OCZ Performance Series 512MB x2
Leadtek WinFast GeForce 6800GS
Ultra X-Connect 500-watt PSU

What do you guys think? I am trying to run BF2, Doom3, FarCry, FEAR etc...hopefully this stuff runs it. I havn't built a PC in a few years and I'm slowly learning all the new technology on boards and etc.

Well, let me know what you guys think...should I reconsider any of these parts? Anything better for a cheaper price etc.

for those games would recommend 2 gig of ram. not sure about that psu. lots of mixed reviews. try for a fortron or antec.

I personaly think 1 gig is enough for gaming and again try a good brand named PSU.

i would change the mobo to an MSI K8N NEO4-F
maybe if you have money bump up to 2GB's and change that psu please

Antec truepower 550W power supply or OCZ 520W powerstream or Fortron 450W power supply if none of those fit your budget

IF you can i would go with an eVGA 6800GS not a leadtek
