where would the second SATA drives cable connect to on the MB for it to act as one drive as the first one connected to raid 0

no i do have 2 sata ports but the other one is labled sata1
which i thought was used to use a drive as a mirror..
so i connect the second drive to sata1 and how do i configure the raid array? is it done in bios??

btw i have a intel 875pbz

most mobos with SATA support come with to ports, one HD for each, mobo comes with RAID soft, or you can do it while is bootin, gives you an option

The sata1 has nothing to do with mirroring.

You attach both drives, then when you're booting to your windows cd for the first time it asks if you need to install any 3RD party RAID controllers. Yes you want to, your motherboard should come with a floppy disk. Follow the directions.
