Top AGP Card?

Hey Fellas,
What would be the best AGP 8X card I can get for someone?

Thanks for your thoughts. I saw lots of 6600 but they dont seem too great.

6800GS AGP would be the highest end AGP video card you can find.

6800 Ultra's and stuff were higher end, but are impossible to find.

6800GS yes, though the 7800GS is coming out in AGP in feb. which will be better then the 6800GS

These rumors were unconfirmed and no reliable source has said it's coming out in AGP, ever.

I just got the 6800gs AGP and I must say It's a huge increase over my 9800pro. Later I'll try and unlock it once I read more and understand what I'm doing. People say you can unlock it to get 4 more pixel pipelines, giving yourself a 6800gt that can OC sweet.

no the rumor of unlocking the 6800GS is not true but you can oc it pretty **** far.

it might be true because the 6800GS Agp, uses the NV40 chip, unlike the pci-e which doesnt.

The 6800GT uses the NV40.

So does the 6800 which can unlock the extra 4 pipes and the vertex shader.

So the 6800GS should be able to unlock to 16pipes and 4 vertex shaders.

The X850XTPE is the best not including 6800gt and ultra as they are'nt produced anymore

ya, but the x850xt PE is $100 and doesnt support SM 3.0
