adobe uninstall error

When i try to uninstall adobe acrobat 6.0 to install 7.0 reader, i get this error message. Its very annoying and i dont want to reformat.

I think some features of the uninstalling process are missing so I would go to the program files folder in safe mode and delete them and then install A7

there are some add-ons in internet explorer as well. delete them too?
