New monitor

Can someone recomend a 19 LCD that i can get, i game a fair bit, but lately it has been mostly wow, is there a large variance in picture quality between monitors? and is 8ms a fast enough response time for first person shooters?

8ms is excellent. All the guys on here swear that they can see ghosting at 12 and 16ms, but I think they're imagining things. I've used a 16ms monitor and played Doom 3. It was fun and was crystal clear. Try to stay at 16 or less.

I like my good ol' ancient 19" Samsung SyncMaster 950p. I would give it up for a 8ms lcd any day though
