Questions.

Alrighty, I just got my parts yesterday and after a long day of reading manuals, I need to know what this is. I'm pretty sure it is one of the 12V rails that goes through me devices, is this correct? There are two of them.

I got an AMD Athlon 64 3700+, will this really perform comparable to an Intel 3.7GHz, what are the "equivalency numbers" based on?

Also, I didn't notice any thermal paste in the bow with the processor, is this already applied witha plastic seal over it? My friend's Intel was like that. I haven't taken the processor out of its protective case for obviouse reasons.

You help is appreciatied. :bald:

There are 3 molex and one floppy on that cable. The molex is 12v and the floppy is 3.3v.

The CPU comes with a heatsink and a thermalpad. Take off the cover before putting it in :p

So the molex goes to my devices (HDD, CD Drive, etc.) and the floppy just hangs free?

Alright, I have a WD Sata Harddrive, I'll use the SATA so I don't have another cord to tie down.

Thank you guys!
