what you need to do is copy all the files from the cd to your hard drive and then place proplus.msi in with those files next to the setup.exe and it should run

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Having problems with my email program, too. Anyway, if I had the CD that would solve the problem. The software came pre-installed, so I don't have the CD.

Hi, and thanks so much for this truly inventive way to handle this irritating problem.

I've downloaded your zip file and extracted the file to it's own folder.

When I try and use it, though, I get this message -

The file C:\PROPLUS\PROPLUS.MSI is not a valid installation package for the product Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage. Try to find the installation package 'PROPLUS.MSI' in a folder from which you can install Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage.

And then I get an error 1076, and it aborts the installation.

What do I do now?

try burning that file to cd, then run it

I just put another a new proplus.msi file in their, someone deleted the last one.
