im lookin for a program that will monitor file nimber in certain folder and report what files were added
or record and warn me when files are added to selected folders
also im lookin for a program that will let me do a backup of my current OS and make a bootable recovery cd out of it

Yes, I ve got a bootable image I use at work for the laptops...Im taking his term backup as meaning an image....

Yep Norton ghost will handble your backup request..as for the file changes I used to have a tool that did this..let me see if I can find it.

that lets you see if other people hacked into your folders. It is not like ghots at all.
