just ordered my parts

opteron 165 dual core 939
asus a8n-e nforce ultra 939
corsair 1G xms ram
evga 6600GT 256mb GDDR3 pci-e
asus combo drive IDE
samsung spinpoint 40G sata 3.0g/s

want to go 64 os but windows version costs 150.....
any ways any thoughts ideas, OC tips i would be gratefull.

Everything is cool.

But don't go with the XP 64.

Most will say, go with GSKILL or OCZ for OCin' ram.

dont go 64 bit OS, crappy drivers & the like, looks like youve got good ram for over clocking, smallish hdd though, for OC'ing if you change the RAM dividers (i dint know much about this, ask PZEROFGH) you can squeeze the extra steeze from it

should i install windows first to oc because i wanted to run linux?
was going to get a abit sli mobo but decided that if i were to upgrade(planning on buying a new system in 1 year, M2 socket amd x2 and run sli) this system i could just get 1 7800gt and add 1G corsair xms...

yeah im reading the OC threads now.. seems simple enough, especialy since i only wanted to OC 2.4, mild for what ive read about my opty.
