Static popping sounds...

Today my speakers just started making popping sounds. I'm assuming it's from static electricity. Does anyone know how I can get this to stop, it's so freaking annoying!!!

If you have a cell phone and its about to ring or if its too close to the speakers the speakers make wierd noise!!!

No cellphone here...

I havent moved anything closer to it that would have caused it to start doing this.

OK...I needed to restart my computer, so when it restarted....the popping went away, very strange. Atleast it's gone now, woohoo!
