Firewalls

I use a hardware firewall with NAT, SPI, DOS protection and ping blocking.
it is pretty secure, and blocks hundreds of attempts per hour.
I also have the XP SP2 firewall on (but it probabbly doesn't do much)

I also use Firefox, Antivir Personal Edition, and Nod32. I remove spyware manually.

I agree with Ste and apokalipse that the way to go is with a hardware firewall. If you are trying to block something that has already made it past you router then you will have problems.

It doesnt work everytime.
