Hello,

Can any one recommend the way, solution or some ideas on how to compare files in different formats? The first idea is to use some comparative utility, but as you know they do their job just for two
documents with common ancestor.

Please, share you opinion, if some other solution exists that can
help to compare in some way office documents or other.

P.S. Some office tools (MS Word) has a comparison ability, but it
doesn't work if I want to compare PDF with MS Word file or so.

Any advice about file compassion is appreciated, thank you!

Try to highlite the selection you want to use in different formats.

Right click the selection and copy it. Then paste it in the other format window.

EX. Copy from PDF format and then go to MS Word and paste it in the new window. This has worked for me before. Then save it under the MS Word format.

Comparing two folders?

Yes, I agree this could do a trick if I'd need to compare just few files, but once I need to compare two folders with hundred or thousand files, then it's not a solution.
