yup, Ridlyn ripped the words right out of my mouth. Since he has the 9550, he has an AGP slot. The 6800GS on AGP is making it's debut and is just now being sold. There is an XFX 6800GS on newegg for 230 I think. Wait till some more brands come out so you can buy a PNY, eVGA, or BFG. You don't want anything to do with an XFX.

Oh, and as far as improvement: your jaw will drop.

You guys are totally cutting out other great cards like the 6600GT, the 6800XT, and the regular 6800 Vanilla.

All are cheaper and offer great performance.

the 6600gt has gone waaay up in price in AGP format. It's hardly cheaper than the 6800GS if you can find one.
