DVD-ROM wont detect DVD+R disc

I burned a DVD+R and I tried it on 2 dvd-rom drives, and it wont detect the cd. What's up?

Who manufactures the DVD burner and what is the model number? What media did you burn and in what format? WAs it Nero ro Roxio or ???

Ok 2 formats and 2 types

Staples DVD+R
Memorex DVD+RW

edit: I tried a 3rd SAMSUNG DVD-ROM (the other 2 seemed brandless) and the dvd+rw worked.
