Whats the difference between.. 3.0gb/s and SATA150... On newegg they are same price, I wanna get like 2x 250gb's hdd's and run them in raid.. but I dunno differnece. 3.0gb/s is faster right??? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I wanna get a raid setup going.. What would be a decent setup for around 200$
 
S-ATA two (2) is commonly called S-ATA3GB/s on product searchs. So yes, S-ATA 2 or S-ATA 3GB/s is faster then S-ATA 150. Just make sure that your motherboard has S-ATA 2 ports because if it has S-ATA 150 ports then it will still work, only at the slower Speed.

If you choose RAID 0, remmeber to back up your DATA often as it does not provide any fault tolerence.
