how to get sound out of 4 of the 5 speakers with my sound blaster live 5.1 and logitech x-530 speakers, but i can not get the center 1 to work, in my sound mixer which comes with the sound blaster program, i can not choose 5.1 speakers, ony headhones, 2 or 4 speakers

any help would be appreciated

There must be another driver at Creative.com, you can download to make that work.

but whats its called though, and why when i restart does my computer set my speaker option to quadraphonic and not 5.1

I had a similar problem with the same card. All I needed to do was swap the center speaker white and red plugs i.e red into white socket and white into red socket on the bass/main speaker. I know this sounds daft but I was getting no sound from the center speaker at all and when I swapped them over it worked fine!! Download the latest driver from the Creative site, they got a system dectector program that scans your computer and tells you what you need to download.
