The parts have already all been ordered some are already here. He wanted a cheap cheap cheap computer that can still be somewhat fast and can game w/ Medium settings... I went to work on newegg.com and tigerdirect outlet store, (15 miles away) And found all this... I already have everything. I'm just wondering what you all think about it? And if I'm forgetting anything. I already have a mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc etc. and CD Drive... Thats all I really think that isn't on that list. Any input or advice would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Well everything looks good for a low-budget pc, but I doubt it'll play much on medium settings. With the 5200FX you'll be looking at low settings for most games like HL2, BF2, etc.

... hmm for a s754, you coulda just nabbed a $60 G6100 mobo and skipped the fx5200... The G6100 performs as well or twice as well as my Radeon 9200....(ex. I get 25-40 fps in HL2 on med in 800x600, the G6100 is benched to get 40-60 at med in 1024x768... I just orderd one for a friend (with the same processor) so i'll find out how that gos.

you also could have gotten a $60 Maxtor 100gb SATA drive...

that woulda probably given you enuf to get a Gig or ram instead of only 512...

The case and psu most likely top notch, far from it, but for a budget comp it should do fine.

There's some really good low end solutions, you just have to look for them.

You posted this in the high performance forum not budget so for a high performance PC I will say this doesn't cut it.
