It might actually work without the capacitor. I know you can break one or two capacitors off a CPU and it will still work.

Well I have found alot out about it. It has 180 uF (Capacitance), is 16v, is made by Sanyo.... I can't find a place to order though, well atleast without ordering 400 of them. Here are the part numbers, it is either 16SVP180M, or 16SVP180MX. The only difference here is size. The 16SVP180M is 8*12 mm, while the 16SVP180MX is 10*8 mm. It says it is D*L which I think is Diameter times length, but I don't have a ruler handy to check. Anybody know where I can get these? Or will any 180 uF 16v capacitor work?

Okay.... But what about a higher rated uF capacitor like a 220 uF @ 16v capacitor?

It may or may not work, depending on exactly what it is doing.

My guess is that since they didnt use a very common capicator, their is a good reason why it's 180 vs the more common 220

I looked thru about 150 of my capicators seeing if I could find one that works, but no dice.

Ok i searched up ebay, as you usually find weird more uncommon electronic peices that were scrapped from the Russian Military

However I found some GE capicators, their a pretty penny but if I recall correctly GE do make quality capicators.

This is going to cost ya 20$ max for just 4, but it will be worth it. You may want a second opinion since I am a bit rusty in this area.

Okay. I'm going to this electronic component store tomorrow, and if they don't have it (**** they got's everything), then I will order off of ebay. Thanks again.

Edit: Link doesn't work.
