Picking out parts.

I just got the oppurtunity to build a new machine and decided to go with AMD. I need to know:

1. Are there any upgrades I can make to the system? I have a budget of $1300 and my tally is currently $1052.

2. Are all of these parts compatible? I'm 99% sure but I still would like to get a second answer.

3. My HDD is OEM, will I have/where can I get the SATA cable to connect it to my mobo? Same with my Optical Drive.

Here's the plan:

You guys have been a really big help so far. Thank you.

IF you're willing to spend a few extra dollars, consider dropping that value ram and pick up a nice set of OCZ or GSKILL 2x1G kit. That way, you'll be able to OC.

Don't get the EPS12v (8 pin) version of that PSU. Get the other one ATX12v (4 pin).

You won't need to buy any additional cables.... you know why?

All the cables you'll need come with the motherboard.

Good build... Good Luck.

Well the EPS12v has a 8PIN power connecter for the CPU. It's mostly for servers and Expert Boards. Although you could use an molex to P4 adapter, but that doesn't make sense when you'd pay like $10 less for the ATX12v.

The ATX12v has 4PINS. Which is standard in all other desktop mobos.

Yea, definately change the PSU, unnecessary hassle.

RAM...if you want to, you can get overclocking RAM, but Value RAM doesn't stop you from overclocking.

Otherwise, good luck.

Thats good RAM you picked. Its also gone down in price since i bought it. :(

Build looks vey good. You should have fun with it. What case are you getting?
