I have a gig and a half of RAM installed. My board will take up to 3 gigs. Would I gain much adding anymore ram? Am I even using all of the 1.5 gig I have now? Just wondered.

You can check how much RAM your using my right-clicking "My computer" and then going to "Propteries". If you want more RAM get it, the more the better.

Most people dont go over 2GB's. 2GB's is plenty for today. 1.5GB's is fine also. I would so no need to 512MB more ram

Ok. Thanks. I know after you unstall a certain amount you can't really notice a difference (that was always my past experience).
