help with firefox plugins...cannot see videos/music

hi im using firefox (the newest version) and everytime i want to look at a embedded video online it has the "install missing plugins" box....so i click on it and it says "no suitable plugins were found".
so my question is...where can i find and download the missing plugins so i can watch embedded music videos online...such as on myspace.com

Do you have quicktime and windows Media?? because those are usually the formats they are in
