I have no clue whats going on but it keeps on getting slower and slower!!!

I have 1gb of ram, intel pentium 4 processor 2.8GHz, 300gb hard drive, asus p4s800d-x motherboard and 5 fans please help me!!!

If i got another gb of ram would that do anything?

I was thinking the same thing, talldude123. I was also thinking some adware/mallware is hidden here as well. ikillyou61 do the following:

1. Defrag your harddrive.

2. Run a virus scan. I sure hope you have an antivirus program and a firewall and a router.

3. www.trendmicro.com has a free and very good online virus scan called Housecall. They also have a free adware detection scan as well. This company is highly reliable and honest. They will not place anything on your harddrive except their build engine so that their scans can work. You are safe to accept the build engine.

this is late, but i downoaded a great program which recovered alot of hard drive space

its called ccleaner (crap cleaner) and downloadable for free at www.ccleaner.com

I bought another gb of ram so now I have 2 gb and I reformated windows!!!

I tell you, you can never go wrong with reformatting. It fixes eveything!

you probably wouldve been fine with just reformatting, seening as you probably had a virus, as a computer shouldnt get progressivly slower with 1gb ram.
