well trust me there are certain registry keys in which the the information regarding them is stored and it needs a bit of research work to be done as they a pop up specific so you can search them if you are able to but even the google tool bar is somewhat 80% successfull

i agree, however za pro also has a popup blocker that works quite well.

I use EMS Free Surfer MK II
easy to configure, free, can clean out temp internet files & cookies, and has a 'panic' button which instantly closes all IE windows if you get 'popup spammed'

I have adaware, and it dont work for crap. Just so everyone knows, adaware sucks and does not get rid of all spyware or pop-up ads. Also, Google toolbar is not doing its job and stopping pop-ups. Can someone tell me why?

Google Toolbar works great, and it won't stop a popup that is important to you.

I've been using it for a while and blocks all popus, well
I've got none. works with all versions of IE, the google
toolbar needs IE6 to work.

I use opera most of the time and it has a pop-up thing included. I have it set to "accept requested popups only" which works great, and for IE I use the google toolbar. I like it anyway because it is google, of course.
