Hi guys
I need a little help here. i have a Dell inspiron 5100 that i bought new 2 years ago. everything is descent still about it, (512 DDR, 2.4 Gh pentium 4, 40 gig drive), except for the video card, which is a 64mb radeon 7500, and won't run directX 8. 0

i would like to upgrade the video card to something that can run directX 9.0 or higher. does anyone have any suggestions on good cards? what should i look for? where should i look? and most importantly, how should i go about installing the new hardware without wrighting off my comp?

thanks allot guys!

those are new chipsets for laptop cards that will be placed in newer laptops that are being manufactered currently. You can't upgrade the graphics on a laptop.

A google.com search could've yielded this to you .
