Word 2000 on windows 98

I was thinking about putting word 2000 on windows 98. Its already on my computer right now and if i put it on windows 98 its going to want to register with microsoft. When i register will word somehow tell microsoft that i have used 1 disk on 2 computers? I was going to use the factory disk that came w/ my computer.

I have word 2000 on a 98 comp and I dident have to register

It'll ask you to register. When it does just select No and you'll be fine

yeah, but i can only open it 48 more times. What exactly does it do when i register? Will it "tell on me" that im running word on both machines.

go ahead and activate it, dont register it unless it forces you too, if they reject it, you will need to go to some serials sites or ask a buddy...
