I think it would be a good idea to email certificates to people who have really helped out, to say've been at tech-forums; so just say you wanted to get a new job or something, you can show the certificate to the boss to help you get the job.

Yeah, I had mentioned doing something like that a long time ago, but I figured I'd leave it up to the admin/mods to decide

Well you could always just put on your resume that you have trouble-shooting experience, if they ask where then you can tell them that you volunteer for a tech site.
