I have a dell dimension 8400. I recently bought a powmax blue acrylic tower to put everything from my dell in because of improper cooling. I took everything out and attempted to put the motherboard in but the usb ports on the bottom overlapped the top expansion slot. Does anyone know of a case that will fit the connections on this motherboard or if a Dell XPS case will work? If so where do I find a XPS case?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think some/most OEM motherboards aren't made to ATX form-factors? Some just look similar.

Why not just get better fans and organize cluttered cables in your old case? Proper airflow will give you better cooling.

The only fan option I have is a bay drive or expansion slot fan. I have already purchased a bay fan but haven't received it yet. Hopefully this will help.
