6800GS XXX vs x800XL

Which of these two cards is better? And why? Don't consider just the chip itself but these exact vendor's cards?
The price is similar...

VGA PCI-E SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON X800XL, 256MB DDR3, DVI, TV
or
VGA PCI-E XFX, geforce pcx 6800gs extreme xxx, 256mb ddr3, dvi, tv

Does anyone have either of those? What are your experiences?

Definately 6800GS. The X800XL is old technology. It does not contain Shader Model 3 which is essential for future games, plus the X800 series is known for its notorious driver problems.

also the 6800GS can be oc'ed very very far. o and XFX in general isnt a very good brand since their cards arent very reliable.

get the eVGA, Leadtek, MSI, or BFG version of the 6800GS, the XFX ix no good.

There are no other cards exept the XFX where i am buying, exept the 6600's, but no 6800's
