System specs and BF2 settings

just to correct everyone here Maxing out Bf2 would really mean you run the game on UltraHigh settings which you can do. By going into profiles and changing some #s

you going into profiles and change some numbers? i play on all high settings with 4x AA or AF i dunno which and high sound whatever. It looks good, wish i can put on the other AA or AF gah. 1280*1024 i get a little lag, it might be my interent connection cause i play on UK servers

I play everything max on my Main rig and w/ my LAN rig i can even get 6x AA option on it.

i can run it all maxed at 1600x1200 85hz super smooth.
im on x2 4800+ @ 2.6Ghz, 7800gtx512 @ 615/1800
looks like BF2 and HL2 runs the best. fear is the toughest 1.
in fear i can go for 1280x960 2xAA 16AF or 1024x768 all maxed settings.
i wish i can run fear better...even in the performance test i get no under 30FPS but still looks laggy in real game. turning off "head bob" option helps making it look stable. lookin at fear, i guess i need SLI for unreal 3 engine if i wanna run it at or close to max settings..
but anyway, is there any good tweak for fear?

Your machine should own FEAR. It dosent look that good to me.

dunno y but fear and cod2 runs pretty laggy on high res.
other games r totally fine w 1600x1200.
for cod2, it runs really well on trilinier but on AF it gets laggy...

No wonder. Try playing them at 1280x1024 and youll have no lag at all.
