When you're a kid $4000 is like a buttload of money.

But, as you get older, get a job, buy a home, vehicle(s), food, utlities... etc...etc.... You'll quickly realize that 4K is nothing.

Yeah from what I can think...

Athlon X2 4800+ s939
Zalman 9500CNPS
4GB of OCZ Gold on 2T timings
Foxconn or MSI or DFI motherboard
Dual 7800GTX 512MB Motherboards
2 or 4 500GB IBM Deskstar's in RAID0
DVDBurner
DVDRom
Floppy with build in 8-1 card reader 8)
Widescreen LCD
THX Certified 5.1 sound system
Creative XtremeMusic X-Fi Sound card

What the **** are

"Dual 7800GTX 512MB Motherboards"

LOL

I think you mean dual 7800gtx 512 meg graphics cards

my 2 cents here

AMD x2 4800 dual core
4x 74 gig raptors in RAID 0+1
Dual 7800gtx 512mb eVGA or Leadtek
either DFI lanparty Ultra-d SLi or the Asus a8n premium
4 gigs of OCZ platinum
ZALMAN 950cnps
Dual DVD-burners dual layer
sound blaster x-fi fatality edition, just cuz its the most expensive one lol
cooler master stacker 830
pc power and cooling 850watt SLi power supply
and like 7 120mm fans to fill up all the spots in the case

add in maybe 2 fan controllers

mouse go for the g5 laser mouse, and a cordless di novo keyboard

monitor go for viewsonic's 19inch 2ms lcd
maybe 2

Logitech z-5500 speakers

and thats about all i can think of off the top of my head

Because that requires a TITAN Server motherboard which requires socket 940 which causes a mess of issues.
