B btv In Runtime Messages 120 Feb 22, 2004 #2 brand new harddrives dont come fdisk. use the floppy disk that came with the drive.if it didn't come with one,you can download it from their web site.

OP OP I insdaryl Beta member Messages 3 Feb 22, 2004 #4 Thanks pple. I've got it All I need to do is in XP Pro --> run --> diskmgmt.msc a wizard will appear right click on the new HD and select partition. After that the wizard will more or less takes over. Cheers
