Why did you go w/ Asus and Corsair?

I knew at least one person was going to say that.

The A8N32 has been reviewed many times over and shows just as much potential as the DFI SLI-DR for overclocking. Which I plan on doing, but not extreme overclocking. Just enough to get some extra out of the Opty 175. The Corsair XMS 3500LL's Have also shown very good reviews for a 2x1G kit. Sure should I have gone with the GSKILL'S, may-be... But i didn't, plus, i kinda like the bling, bling factor of the LEDS on the ram that I got.

Also, the A8N32 & XMS 3500LL's are matched for each other. The A8N32 is also optimized for that RAM.

I'm sure everything will be fine. If It isn't i'l be the first one to kick myself in the butt... And say, "You told me so."

There is nothing wrong with Asus and Corsair. I am getting ready to upgrade to 2GB of RAM and I am still going back and forth between OCZ and Corsair.

Have a merry Christmas btw and enjoy your new toy!
