opty 165 or x2 3800

i did i researched first and i posted that the opty was 1.8 and the 3800 was 2.0 and such i just wanted some opinions

Every site ive been to says the 3800+ is 2.0ghz. Either way im still getting one for Christmas!! (I told my mom i want the Opty 175 but she said NO i want to get you an Athlon! cant argue w/ that :p)

Why not? The 175 is better.
Because if i want the Opteron i have to pay for it. Shes gonna get me the 3800+ for Christmas. Lets wheigh that out, free 3800+ or pay for 175.........IDK about you but a free processor is better than one that comes outa your pocket.
