ok, my computer right now i have
amd64 3700+
ati 9800pro
msi k8mm-v
1gb pc3200 crucial ram
80gb hdd
my problem is i cant get my video card 9800pro to work, after i install the drivers, the computer shuts off or the screen turns to scattered color screen. Like i ask for help on the msi website they told me to turn up the voltage on the agp slot to like 1.7 or 1.8 but i dont know if its safe or it will fix the problem. Got any ideas what is wrong? and is it a good idea to raise the voltage to 1.7 or 1.8?
