So I've recently been helping build two budget computers, both of which were to have the cheapest s939 Venices, and now everything's gone wild.

The 3000+ used to be about $150, and the 3200+ was something like $160, so I suggested the 3200+ for both computers, but then the 3000+ disappeared and the 3200+ jumped to nearly $180. So I did some research, and it appears that the two of them have been discontinued in order to make room for new processors with better stepping.

Today the 3000+ reappeared at newegg for $190! And the 3200+ is still $180. I'm guessing the prices will settle down once demand is met. Just thought I'd get this out there.

Ive noticed this as well.. thats annoying.
DAYS before I was going to order my pc this happens.
I just shelled out the extra 25+ dollars and got a 3500+

I noticed that today too as I was piecing together a computer.

Mwave has the 3700+ San Diego for 215.00

psht that's nothing dude, go look for a socket A 3200+ barton core CPU and you'll be seeing prices in excess of $250.......now THATS ridiculous

Anyone know the difference between the two 3200+'s besides one being model ADA3200BPBOX and the other ADA3200CGBOX?

They could be a different core or socket. One might be a Winchester and the other a Venice.

Is socket A athlon xp 3000 still posibel to geet.
Cant geet it here in norway.

my bro got a HK who supports up to athlon xp 3000 (fsb333 i think)
And he want/need to upgrade it. he now have a athlon xp1800.
