X-Connect a good PSU?

The reason I ask is I'm gonna get an acrylic red case by Logisys in a few months, and althoguh my antec smartpower is really good and quality built, its not exactly very pleasing to the eye. I wanted to get an XConnect power supply with the nice cables and the lights, and I hear alot about the Ultra powersupplies being crap but I built a friends system with one of their V-Series and it performs quite well.

Any ideas?

They are crap, I had one and trust me, you don't want one.

Check out the 400 watt or 500 watt EnermaX liberty series.

If I were you, I'd just keep the antec to be honest.

All modular power supplies suck.

The plugs on the power supply in which the wires connect to causes resistance in the DC output. This resistance cause instability of rails and voltages.

IF you don't believe me, read a few books on electronics.
