i have a fortron or whatever there called 400w havent opened it or anything. when i bought that i thought i was gonna be running a 6600gt. i changed my mind and am getting the 7800gt. so would i need more watts? if so what should i look for. also if you post a link i wanna keep it cheap.

thanks

this should be an excellent choice of PSU for you:

The 7800gt is meant to not use as much power as its older models so 480watt should be more than enough. If you want a little more then just go for a higher model.

There are other manufacturers out there like Antec, Enermax, and Seasonic but Thermaltake seem to be a decent company and its the only brand I will use.
