setup password hp pavilion zv5210

Can anyone help me bypass the setup password on a hp pavilion zv5210 laptop. I am trying to reload a friends computer and they do not know the password. There does not appear to be a bios\ motherboard battery? I have pulled the back off and speaker and fan plugs where all I found.

you dont see an round silver battery? what about the cmos jumper? and what password are you talking about?

No Battery and No cmos battery redily visible. I took back off two pieces cooling unit for the CPU. I did not remove the fans though. As for jumpers the only pins on the back again visible are the fan power and the speakers. i can pull it down again and send picture?

you could just reformat it.

Reformat the bios? the hard drive is blank I m trying to reload windows the laptop (HP) Keeps askig for a setup password.
