There is already Beta version that have leaked to the net. It is resource hungry. There is a whole topic pinned on this up top. The new version is supposed to be released today.

Vista is scheduled for release next fall. Not sure if you are going to want it if you are a gamer. We just have to see if it really disables OpenGL support like is rumoured.
