Looking for a new Motherboard!!

I currently have a 350 watt Codegen power supply. Do you think that will cause any problems? =

350W would be about bare minimum for that system. you might want to get a better one, because it can cause problems if you overload a PSU.

Alright, thanks guys! Will I need any thermal paste for the cpu? Or does it come with paste? Do I really need paste?

you don't need any thermal paste, although sometimes the heatsink does come with a square of hard thermal paste (it's hard so it doesn't come off the heatsink in the packaging)

thermal paste is just used to increase heat transfer. it helps, but is not a necessity

but you really really really want thermal paste, i dotn think anyone here in TF does not have thermal paste between their processor and heatsink...

Alright... I can maybe get something better in this package, and can probably go up about 30 or 40 dollars.
Can you reccomend a better motherboard than the GA-K8U? It still needs to be 754 and agp.
I just want to make sure that I'll be able to overclock alright, the lack of a pci/agp lock worrys me..

If only they had the 939 Semprons, I could get a better board...

Any more reccomendations?

it's one of the best socket 754 motherboards, but unless you already have a s754 CPU, I'd highly recommend going to s939
