Nooooo!!!!!

Help really needed.....

After 4 years i have decided to upgrade my computer......

got the stuff, screwed it in, plugged the cables and stuff in, only to find that the cable going to the video card ( 6800 gt pci-e ) from the monitor is different and wont go in.....

i got the video card off ebay, and it didnt have any cables or stuff with it .... ( well it did have one, but i didnt end up needing it... and it was internal)

and got my monitor earlier this year..... but dont recall having any other cables, other than the ones ive been using with my old system.....


can anyone give me help or info about this??

i am *really* eager to boot up my new system and try it out , and this is a real *****

it probably has a DVI out on the back and you have a d-sub 15 pin monitor

just buy an adapter anywhere ebay, newegg

is the port white or blue?
if it's white, it's probabbly a digital connector. you can get an adapter for analogue monitors (which use the blue XVGA port)

the port is white........ so i go down to my local computer store and ask for a dvi adapter?
