I thought a thread on improving the security of you computer would be nice so here it goes.

heres a useful tip I learned>
In Win XP (im not sure about past versions) you can create hidden user accounts in the Registry

Here is how to check for them

**Important**
ONLY USE THIS TIP IF YOU ARE FAMILIER WITH REGISTRY EDITING!!!!!!!!**important**

goto local Machine > software> microsoft> windows NT> there will be a key named something like login or special user account if you view the contents of that key there will be a listing of values

this is a list of all the accounts with special proproties if you find one with the binary value of 1 it is a hidden account.

if such an account existed with admin power it could be used to access your computer either locally or from a remote location comppromising yuor security
